Standing In Your Power

Elena Camargo Radford was born in Peru and lived most her life in South America. She came from a lineage that stemmed from an ancient Inca tribe who possessed unique abilities that allowed them to see on many levels, other than just the physical realm (spiritual, issues from the past that affected their present, ancestral issues, DNA, etc.). These sacred gifts were used to address the issues that plagued their people so healing could occur.

Elena found that she also possessed these spiritual gifts while she was young and was supported by her family and culture. As she went to school and was around other children, she would find herself fascinated by their behavior and choices. She realized she could see and understanding the reasons behind a misbehaving classmate. It deepened her compassion and understanding of others.

She moved to the United States to get her college education. To her dismay she found that her innate gifts were not acceptable in this culture and people shunned her because of it. In her deep desire and need for acceptance in this foreign culture she hid and dismissed her gifts. Only in that way did she begin to find she could "fit in". However, it came at a great cost to her. As she hid herself from who she truly was she began to lose sight of herself in the process.

Fortunately, her eyes were opened to her situation. She was alarmed at what she sacrificed for the need of acceptance. She was determined to never betray herself or her gifts again. Once the promise was made, and kept, things began to happen quite rapidly. The freedom that came from that choice was priceless! She stepped back into who she truly was and embraced herself with acceptance.

An experience that manifested itself and allowed her to accept and cultivate her gifts was an experience with a Peruvian Shaman. Three months prior to her going on a group tour to Peru Elena had a dream of meeting a Shaman and dreamed of him doing healing work in the High Andes. Through a series of synchronicities, she met him in person. She had become lost from the rest of the group and approached a man to ask for directions. He looked at her and said he had been expecting her. She then realized that he was the Shaman from her dream.

Elena stayed on to be trained by this powerful Shaman in sacred healing arts. He taught her much, increasing her ability to channel her gifts at the highest, purest level. This advanced training was physically and emotionally taxing, but she was able to endure it and was blessed for it. She continues her energy training ascending to higher levels of learning and enhancing her gifts to this day.

She returned to the United States and was a successful executive and business owner. But one day the call came forth for her to sell her business and put her focus on healing where she was greatly needed. Though fearful, she obeyed. The business Standing in Your Power was created.

Elena finds great joy and honor in helping others find their own calling. She resides in Park City, Utah with her familyand lives the teachings she espouses daily.

"Thru my unique gifts and training as a Shaman, I am able to see into someone's heart,” says Elena. “I witness both their dreams and the pain created by blocks, usually not of their making. I am able to assist them in removing the blocks that keep them from their heart's desire, so they can be in the joy of who they truly are.”
